He, She, & Them. Restoring the Original Family
Who is to blame for the mess that we are in right now? Do we blame the Black Man or do we continue to blame the Black Woman? Well, I am going to take my time with this question as I address it throughout the book. This is a touchy subject because our people have been so degraded and drug through the mud for so long; it is much easier to blame the "others," but we refuse to take responsibly for the conditions of our own race. Now don't get me wrong...I am aware that in the past, the blame unanimously hands down rested on the pink man/woman. The damage and destruction to our families and nation was delivered to our people by those who made it up in their minds that they were jealous, envious, and hateful towards those of color, and the end result would be to wipe the earth clean of such "diseased people."Now that we are in the 21st century, the blame game continues, and although we are still under the "white supremacy" jailhouse roof, it is plain to see that we are the very ones who are keeping us in our grave conditions.
